Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the walnuts and breadcrumbs and cook, tossing, for 2-3 minutes or until toasted and crisp.
Cook the beans in a large saucepan of salted boiling water for 2-3 minutes until bright green and tender crisp. Drain well.
Place the beans on a serving platter and drizzle with lemon juice. Sprinkle with blue cheese and walnut crumbs. Serve immediately.
